More strangely beautiful imagery from the Alewife poster series, This artwork stems from the pioneering printmaker, Ed Merrill, who taught at Augustana College in the 1950's. His 4-color woodcut process is remarkable. The imagery is then digitally re-imagined by Mitch McNeil (whose mother, Nancy Bennett McNeil, studied under Merrill @Augustana – and whose family collected his works.)
